Today I had to be out of school to attend a conference. Being away from my kids is always difficult, but it’s even more painful when I find out that they had a sub who treated them badly. She yelled at them. She called an administrator because they were being too loud, when my sub plans specifically said they should be having an animated discussion of The Crucible in their writing groups....
